Lagertha is our only rabbit that is not a Standard Rex. She is a New Zealand Cream. Though super sweet with people and easy to handle, she has had some problems breeding. She is a reluctant breeder and her first litter only had two kits that she did not end up caring for. She has been re-bred so we are hoping she has better results with more experience.  We are really hoping to get Rex NZ crosses because, while the NZ fur is not as super soft as the Rex, their hocks are more densely furred so hock sores are not as much of an issue. They are also a slightly larger meat breed so may yield more meat per grow out.
